Tomorrow we will be meeting in ECB M1051 at 7:00pm to kick off 3D design. During this meeting, we will look at the final 2D truss design and explain our thoughts on how it will translate into 3D. Then, we will do a short demonstration on how to model the bridge in SAP 3D. Also, some of the team will start looking into connection design and thinking about how each of the pieces will interface with each other. Looking into the future, we will begin creating a solidworks model of the bridge once we figure out the exact connections and cross-supports we will use.
NOTE: we will only be spending the next two meeting on SAP in 3D, so make sure to attend both!
